Terms of Use

Last updated 28 July 2026

These terms cover your use of RopeUp, an iPhone app published by ZeroSix Studio (Vadim Semenko). By downloading or using the app you agree to them.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use RopeUp on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt it or to bypass purchase mechanisms. If you use the leaderboard, don’t submit counts you didn’t earn, don’t create accounts in bulk to farm referral points, and pick a display name you would be comfortable showing to strangers — we may remove a name or a leaderboard entry that is abusive, impersonating or obviously falsified.

Subscriptions

Counting, saving, your full history and your statistics are free, with no advertising. RopeUp also offers an optional Pro purchase that unlocks the training programs, the goal and its forecast, the weight log, the target modes and the deeper analytics. Current options and prices are shown in the app and on the App Store; they vary by country and may change.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Manage or cancel any time: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → RopeUp. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • A free trial, where offered, converts into a paid period unless you cancel before it ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during it.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: support.apple.com/HT204084.
  • Purchases restore on a new device with the same Apple ID, from Settings → Restore Purchases in the app.

Your content

Your workouts, weight log and settings are yours. They are stored on your device — see the Privacy Policy. RopeUp has no cloud backup of them, so keeping your iPhone backed up is what keeps your history safe. If you use the leaderboard, the small public profile described in the Privacy Policy is stored on our behalf by Google Firebase, and you can delete it from inside the app at any time.

Accuracy

RopeUp counts by watching your body with the camera, or by reading motion from AirPods or an Apple Watch. It is designed to stop counting rather than guess when it cannot see you well, which means a session can end up under-counted if you leave the frame or the light is poor. Counts, calorie estimates and weight-loss projections are estimates and are not guaranteed to be exact.

Not professional advice

RopeUp is a fitness and wellness tool providing informational estimates and tracking only. It is not medical advice, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. Decisions you make based on it are your own; consult a qualified professional, particularly before starting a new form of exercise or a weight-loss plan. Jump safely: give yourself room, wear appropriate footwear and stop if something hurts.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features. We aim to keep the app working on currently supported iOS versions, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability — the leaderboard in particular depends on a third-party service.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZeroSix Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for injury arising from exercise. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country of the publisher’s residence, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your own country of residence.
